John A. Barbour is the CEO and the Chairman of the Board of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC. He obtained his law degree from Vanderbilt University and practices before the Pennsylvania state bar. Barbour specializes in real estate finance, real estate development, corporate lending, corporate law, financial services and real estate. For the past many years, he has been involved in complex real estate transactions on behalf of his clients like equity participants, lenders and developers, all across the United States. An award winning attorney, Barbour has also worked for the Pittsburgh Steelers and was involved in the construction, financing and development of Heinz Field. Wendelynne J. Newton is an executive shareholder in Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Law, she specializes in health care, antitrust and trade regulation litigation. She is qualified to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. Over the years, Newton has handled several hundred complex antitrust and litigation matters. She is also the chair of the law firm’s Pittsburgh Litigation Group.
