Founding partner Bruce Burttram is a native of Alabama, and has a J.D. from Samford University in Birmingham. He is a retired U.S. Army Colonel and a member of the State Bar Association since 1973. Burttram devotes nearly 50 percent of his practice to litigation, and provides his services in a large number of practice areas. In addition to his professional work, he puts in a lot of his time to work with the community. Currently he serves with a local United Methodist Church and Council on Ministries. His Pro Bono activities include working with a Volunteer Lawyers program for more than 30 years. Partner Hugh Henderson also has a J.D. from Samford University, and is a member of the U.S. Supreme Court and Alabama Bar Associations. 75 percent of his practice is dedicated to litigation, and his practice areas are too many to mention. Like Burttram, Henderson has also worked as voluntary lawyer for more than a decade.
