About the Firm

Henry J. Fox established Arent Fox PLLC in 1942 and started building its name in government contract, labor, and administrative practice. He was joined by Albert E. Arent in 1944 who laid the groundwork for the real estate practice of the firm. With his association with local charity affairs, the self-motivated man built a solid reputation of the firm for pro-bono work. Later on, they were joined by Edwin L. Kahn, Earl W. Kintner, and Harry M. Plotkin who added to the firm’s impeccable reputation and helped it to diversify into other areas. Now, after almost seventy years, Arent Fox PLLC is known for its leading services in the city. Moreover, it has gone beyond Washington D.C. and now has offices in Los Angeles and New York.
