Miranda warning is the announcement made by a member of the United States Department of Police at the time of arresting a criminal declaring clearly in a verbal manner that the individual being arrested has the right to remain silent as anything they say beyond that point maybe held against them in the court of law and be used in the process of investigation. The arrested individual is also informed that they have the right to an attorney. However, if they cannot afford so, one will be appointed by the government. This warning is known as the Miranda rights.
